Holy Week Schedule
- Monday, March 26, through Wednesday, March 28, worship at 6:30pm
- Maundy Thursday, March 29, and Good Friday, March 30, worship at 12:15pm & 6:30pm
- Saturday Sacred Storytelling Worship, March 31, worship at 6:30pm
- Easter Sunday, April 1, worship at 7:30am, 9am, & 10:45am. No Sunday School nor Confirmation
The office will close at noon on Friday, March 30, & all day Monday, April 2.
Fundraiser for Youth: Bug Guard Plus
Youth selling bug spray as a fund raiser need to return order forms into the office THIS Sunday, March 25.
COME FOR SUPPER
First Lutheran is assisting with Come for Supper on Tuesday, March 27, at Our Savior’s in La Crosse. First Lutheran will help with food donations and volunteering to serve and clean-up. The sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center. Call Gloria Kubiak if you have questions, 608.498.2762.

Justice & Peace Stations of the Cross
Join with others from the community and First for the Spirituality Center’s annual Justice and Peace Stations of the Cross. This form of the Way of the Cross is a silent prayer walk from the heart of La Crosse to the Mississippi River. Adults, students and families are all welcome to experience this special Good Friday event on March 30, at 10am. Members from First can ride share from the church parking lot at 9:15am, otherwise meet in front of the St. Rose sign on the corner of Market Street and Franciscan Way. More info:1stlu.org/jpstations
Faith Family Eggstravaganza!
Learn more about the Easter story at this fun, faith-filled family event in Fellowship Hall, Saturday, March 31, 5-6pm, just before our kid-friendly Sacred Storytelling Worship at 6:30pm on Holy Saturday. Light snacks will be provided. Please RSVP to beth@firstlu.org.
Summer Produce CSA
This summer, First Lutheran will be a pick-up location for the Small Family Farm CSA (community supported agriculture), on Wednesdays, 11am-6pm, so you can pick up your produce and then attend worship! Price increases April 1. More info: 1stlu.org/csa.
Mabel Anderson Scholarship
Applications are now available. Completed applications are due no later than 3pm on Monday, April 23. Students may apply if they will graduate from high school in the spring and have plans to pursue post-secondary education. Application forms are available at 1stlu.org/scholarship or in the church office during office hours, M-F 8am-4pm.
Food Pantry Needs

Quilters Need Fabric
The First Lutheran quilters need sheets (gently used) and can always use fabric. Donations may be dropped off at the church office.
Clothes Closet Needs
Are you ready for spring cleaning and finding a new home for outgrown coats? Consider dropping off your gently-used, clean coats for the First Teen Clothes Closet and Children’s Closet. Other items on our most-needed list currently: toiletries (full-size toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, conditioner), wallets, and purses.
NEW-MEMBER SESSIONS
We offer several new-member sessions each year to acquaint new members with First and a small group of other newcomers. People who would like to become members of First Lutheran are invited to a 3-week introduction to the church, presented in a small-group setting. The group will meet in the evening on Apr. 15, Apr. 22, and Apr. 26. To register your family or ask questions please call our church office at 608.783.2236 or email office@firstlu.org.

New Member Directories Are In
Directories can be picked up while at church, or stop by the office during office hours. If you had a photo taken or submitted a photo, you get a free directory; others can purchase one for $5.
