Middle School Youth Group
The Middle School Youth Group will meet again on Sun., April 2, noon–2pm in the Mary Room
Walk for Water at Valley View Mall
Come to the mall March 11 anytime between 10am and 3pm to walk the "Walk for Water" course that youth experienced at the 2015 ELCA Youth Gathering!
Worship Team Gatherings
In order to better know other members in our worship teams, and to review team goals, plan on attending the gathering time for your teams listed below:
- Feb 15, 7pm for Readers
- Feb 19, 11:30am for Acolytes
- Feb 22, 7pm for Assisting Ministers (these people will assist in leading worship, speaking the prayers, leading the creed, dismissing people etc.)
- Feb 26, 11:30am for Communion Servers
- March 5, 11:30am for Altar Guild/Communion Set-up
- March 8, 7pm for Intercessors (these people will write the prayers of intercession each week)
- March 12, 11:30am for Puppets and Tech
- March 15, 7pm for Worship Coordinators (these people will be our primary coordinator for any given worship service, making sure people are present, trouble-shooting when needed, and eventually helping with training etc. We are seeking 6 people to make this team.)
- March 19, 11:30am for Ushers
- March 22, 7pm for Bread Bakers
High School Valentine's Lock-in
A night full of candy hearts, cheesy valentines, camp-style worship, and

Birthday Party for Jesus
An intergenerational event! Everyone is invited to attend this Birthday Party for Jesus in Fellowship Hall from 9:15 to 10:15 on Sun, Dec 27!
Thankful Sunday
Simply bring food items with you anytime you visit this month and deposit them at the display in the Narthex. On Sunday November 29, our youth will spend the Sunday school hour packaging these items and transporting them to the Onalaska Food Bank.

Family Comedy Pillow Fight Night!
A little stand-up comedy mixes with practical parenting in this lightning fast evening of fun and learning. Thursday, April 16, 6:30–8pm, with supper at 5:30pm, at First Lutheran.
Global Mission Sunday Potluck
Join us on Sunday, April 12 as we learn more about the ELCA’s global missions, sing songs from around the world, and support the ELCA’s campaign to end malaria.
Holy Communion Instruction
Holy Communion instruction is the 5th grade milestone, but all the baptized (of any age) are welcome to commune. If your child is baptized but younger than 5th grade and you wish to allow your child to commune, please attend a special instruction time as a family Saturday, December 13 at 1:30pm. It will last an hour.
Fair Trade Fair
On Sunday, November 30th between services First will be hosting a fair trade fair, where there will be special fair trade gifts for sale, which will benefit the artisans directly.
