Narrative Lectionary
On Sundays September through May, First Lutheran includes readings from a new lectionary source: the Narrative Lectionary. Starting in September the readings will come from Genesis, and then progress through the Old Testament. Around Christmas the readings celebrate Jesus’ birth and then enter the New Testament. By the end of May we will have heard the entire story of Scripture in a more complete way than perhaps you've ever heard before. Our hope is to create a more scripturally fluent congregation!
