Frolic!
This group is for parents/guardians and their children ages birth to 3 years old, and meets the second Sunday, at 9:15am in room 102. We sing, dance, play, and pray together to learn ways to raise our little Christians in the home. We welcome newcomers all the time—join us!
COFFEE WITH PASTOR KARYN
Coffee with Pastor Karyn is open to all and meets at 6:30am each Wednesday at Panera. See you there!
OWLs
On Wednesday, May 16 the OWLs, a group for those 55+, will have their May potluck at noon in the narthex. Our program will be a fun and spirited competition with some of our favorite games and additional new ones. On Friday, May 25, the OWLs will fly to Lanesboro for a bus tour of Amish farms and craftsmen. Following the tour, they will have lunch at a local establishment. Meet at the church at 8:30am, returning about 3:30pm. Cost: $30 (lunch on your own). RSVP to Brian Narveson at owls@firstlu.org.
Grief Support Group
Carrying on after the death of a loved one can be difficult and lonely. Join with others who have experienced loss, and listen and care for each other. Meeting the third Thursday of the month, 1pm in the Upper Room. Led by Nancy Beguin

COME FOR SUPPER
First Lutheran is assisting with Come for Supper on Tuesday, May 22, at Our Savior’s in La Crosse. First Lutheran will help with food donations and volunteering to serve and clean up. The sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center. Call Gloria Kubiak if you have questions, 608.498.2762.
Confirmation Celebration
May 23, 6:30pm at Rowe Park, shelter #1 This event is for all confirmation students, small-group guides and parents. We will have a cook-out to celebrate all the hard work the students put in this year! We will close the evening with a special worship, led by the students!

Wisconsin Dells
Families of First are invited to Noah’s Ark in Wisconsin Dells. We will be going as a group on FRIDAY, June 15 (not on Saturday, as printed in the newsletter). The park is open from 10am-6pm. Parking Lot Ministry
This new ministry needs warm and friendly faces to greet guests and worshipers who come into the parking lot, giving help if needed at the entrance door and giving umbrellas to those who need one when it’s raining. Come to the Welcome Center to receive more information and sign up to help.
Nursery Attendants
Helping care for the kiddos of our church allows families to more readily participate in the ministries offered at First Lutheran. You can help this ministry as a volunteer nursery attendant. Nursery kids range from newborn through 4 years. Adult volunteers welcome; youth should have some babysitting or prior nursery experience. To help out contact Cassie Carrell, our nursery coordinator, at nursery@firstlu.org.
Clothes Closet Needs
This month’s most needed: Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothpaste), athletic shorts (men’s and women’s in all sizes), casual shorts in XS and S sizes for guys (27/28 inch waist), gently used athletic shoes.
Sugar Creek Explorer Day
For children entering grades 1–5, on Wednesday, June 27, 7:30am-4:15pm. Why? Experience a day at Sugar Creek (a parent is welcome/preferred)! How: Carpool/van/bus from First Lutheran! Additional info: wear tennis shoes and bring swim suit and towel. Snacks, lunch and water are provided! Cost: $20. RSVP to beth@firstlu.org.
